Step-by-Step: Create an Intune Configuration Profile

1. Sign in to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager portal (https://endpoint.microsoft.com).
2. Select Devices > Configuration > Create.
3. Under Platform, choose Windows 10 and later.
4. Under Profile type, select Settings catalog. Click Create.
5. On the Basics tab:
   • Name: Enable Edge Split Screen
   • Description: Allow split screen feature in Edge
     Click Next.
6. On the Configuration settings tab:
   • Click + Add settings.
   • In the search box, type SplitScreenEnabled.
   • Select Enable split screen feature in Microsoft Edge.
   • Set the value to Enabled.
     Click Next.
7. (Optional) On Scope tags, add tags if you need to limit admin access. Click Next.
8. On Assignments, choose the user or device groups that need split screen. Click Next.
9. Review the settings and click Create.

Devices will receive the policy at the next sync. Users must restart Edge to apply the change.

Verification

On a targeted device:

1. Open Microsoft Edge and restart if already open.
2. Click the Split Screen icon (two-pane icon) next to the address bar.
3. Choose Split to open the current tab in two panes.

If the icon is missing, ensure policy is applied and Edge has been restarted.
