Windows Studio Effects use AI to improve your video calls with features like background blur, eye contact correction, and auto framing. Follow these steps to turn them on or off.

Enable or Disable Studio Effects

  1. Open Settings by pressing Win + I.
  2. Click Bluetooth & devices on the left, then select Cameras on the right.
  3. Under Connected cameras, click the camera you want to configure (for example, “Surface Camera Front”).
  4. Click the Edit button under Advanced camera options.
  5. Toggle Use Windows Studio Effects to On or Off as desired.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Close Settings when you’re done.
